London-based husband and wife duo, Olaf and Su Parker, designed the 1st “No alla Violenza” t-shirt (‘no to violence’) in 1990 to promote a nonviolent world cup at Italia 90.
Hard to believe, the t-shirt was rejected by some retailers, but enough sold that Su and Olaf were able to launch their label Burro, combining music and art into fashion.
In addition to designing, Olaf works in the education world of fashion as he lectures in fashion institutes, mentoring men and women who aspire to the field.
For spring/summer 2016, Burro presents a somewhat adolescent schoolboy motif in a casual setting of polos, tees, cardigans, jackets, and sweaters.
