Domingo Rodriguez Autumn/Winter 2016 Collection

The 2016 autumn/winter collection by Domingo Rodriguez represents a minimalist approach to fine tailoring and deconstructed design, consisting of unique suede coats and leather jackets.

Graduating from the London College of Fashion with a master’s degree in Fashion Design and Technology, the British designer embarked on a career in women’s wear but soon realized that he did not connect to the female silhouette.

With an avid love for Helmut Lang, Domingo was greatly influenced by Rick Owens and Delphine Wilson, as well as history, which he balances with modernism.

Transferring to menswear, Domingo begins with the fabric in approaching the male figure, looking inward with feel and fit.

As the 2016 autumn/winter collection reveals, Domingo has a deep love for furs, cashmeres, refined textures, and softness against the skin.
